SO....LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT............

My dear friend Tysgirl who happens to be the bestest photographer ever has come down with Lyme Disease.

I looked it up and this is what I found;

Lyme disease (līm) Pronunciation Key A disease caused by the bacterial spirochete Borrelia burgdorferi, transmitted by deer ticks and characterized initially by a bull's-eye-shaped rash followed by flu-like symptoms such as fever, joint pain, and headache. If untreated, it can result in chronic arthritis and neurologic or cardiac dysfunction. It is named after Lyme, Connecticut, where it was first reported.

Ummmm... I don't like the sounds of that at all!!! I am glad she is taking care of it, but that's scary and I don't like that at all!!!! Time for soup with no chicken in it!

On a much brighter note, I am starting to come out of my mini-funk. I have no idea what has been washing over me like waves of sadness. I have felt like I was drowning, like I couldn't breathe, just overwhelmed I guess. I am starting to feel better. Thanks in great part to the fam. They are a great support team for me when I get the blues. The thing that totally pisses me off about the whole stupid thing is...... there is absolutely NO reason for me to feel this way. AT ALL!!!

I am happy that Tysgirl is going to be O.K., that SoozieQ is back and Moto is O.K. Not to mention Scott FINALLY came home and immediately posted pics. He also has the blues, please show him some love too....

Oh there is a blog that I like to check out at work. Just so happens she is a Savannah blogger and she seems really sweet. I have blurked there for quite a while. She was getting worried because she could see in her blog roll that a "law" address was spending time over there. Every time she would ask that I show myself, I never could. Something about the security settings. Well, I FINALLY was able to let her know it was me (yay me). So pretty soon I will be able to put her in my sidebar and you can bother her too... Well, again, I am feeling better and not so blue...

I'M KINDA BLUE......

I have no idea why, but I have been a little bit sad all day... Tysgirl is a doll and her e-mails make me feel like everything thing is A.O.K.

My dear friend T. who just happens to be Tallman's mom (Tallman is my son's best friend) has been having medical issues lately and it's scarey. I know eventually she is going to be O.K. but I want her to be O.K. right now. I don't like seeing my friends in pain and not being able to help. I have cooked for them (the whole fam) and given her sons rides places, but that doesn't take away her pain. Do me a favor for just a moment in time please send some good karma over this way that she gets better soon, thanks!

I have also been seeing things on the news that make me sad, like this, this and this...

As far as Tammy Faye is concerned, I think she was such a sweet innocent woman and it was never more apparent than when she was on the Surreal Life. I never really thought about that show until she was on with Erik Estrada and Ron Jeremy. Then I realized what an unjaded sweet little woman she was. When I saw her with Larry King, I was sad for her. Say what you will, I loved her eyelashes.

As far as the two other stories are concerned....whatever happened to common sense? Seems to be a thing of the past. I think I need a good long sleep. I need a vacation!

SSHHHH...I'M AT WORK.....

I know I am supposed to be working, but I worked very hard this morning and I am just not in the mood to work any more today....

YIPEE IT'S FRIDAY!!!!

I am so lost without my favorite Tysgirl.... But today is Friday and it's payday so I guess I can hang until she gets back. Tomorrow we are going uniform shopping for the awesome twosome. This is the first year they will have to wear them. Littleman could care less but Babygirl is fit to be tied! She does NOT see the sense in any of it. They will be just fine and it will be easier on me. Wish me luck!

We reserved a copy of the Harry Potter book, Littleman is an avid reader so he reserved it sometime last year. So that is probably going to be our first stop tomorrow as soon as the mall opens. Well, I have to get to work. If you don't hear from me please have a happy fun and safe weekend.

I'M BAAAAACK......

I know you all missed me. It shows because 7 of you commented so sweetly! This is why I keep coming back here, the positive feedback keeps me going....

Well, we changed directions right after we got in the car. We had to go over to my hubby's bank then as we were sitting there counting the cash..... We looked at each other and decided we didn't want to spend the money on the hotels and gas so we decided to head south instead. We went to Jacksonville to the beaches, Adventure Landings and the Jacksonville Zoo. We had a blast!

I love spur of the moment ideas! They totally rule!

Oh and I know a certain few of you are wondering where the pics are, well sorry to disappoint but I left my camera here. Yes for once I was being selfish and didn't want to carry it around. Probably a good thing after all though. When we were at the zoo checking out the monkeys/gorillas a HUGE lightening storm with driving cold rain came through forcing us to seek shelter immediately! We ran for cover, stayed there shaking for quite a while, made a run for it (to the exit) and decided we had been there long enough. The ride home was horrible we had what appeared to be a white out most of the way and driving on I-95 at 35-40 mph makes for a very looong ride home. I really enjoyed getting away with my family. Rain or no rain it's all good when I have them around.

OH MY GOSH!!!!

Are you sitting down??? You better be, I am taking a day of work! Yes, me, the workaholic of all workaholics is taking a day off and going with my family to Hotlanta! YaY! The hubby has been off work for 2 weeks now (lucky). So I figured we could take a long weekend and go to see some of the sights of the big city.

Like this or this or maybe even this....

I have only been to Atlanta twice and enjoyed it both times. Even if this trip isn't the greatest, I have my fam by my side and an extra day off. What more could a girl need?

I PULLED A BRITTANY.....

I had a bad day at work on Friday so I shaved my head. No, no rehab, no umbrella/SUV bashing & no babydaddy involved. Just a plain, good old fashioned sick and tired of everything. I'll post pictures later. Yes, if you're wondering I am still gorgeous dahhhhling.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY.....

Hope everyone is chillin & grillin today. I actually have today off. I know, it surprised me too!!! My poor little almost 70 year old mom has to work today. Can you believe that?!?! She is a hairdresser at Cost Cutters. Ummm, hello nobody in their right mind is getting their hair cut today. I urged her to take the day off. Nope! Workaholic!

We are having some friends come over a little later for burger and dogs. Nothing fancy. We are waiting till this weekend to do the fireworks thing. Please stay safe, get a ride if you're going to be drinking and if it is dry in your neck of the woods think twice about lighting fireworks, please...
