YAY!!!!

Per Cazzie!!!'s orders (heehee) I'm here with an update! Yep, I'm all moved in. Well if you call sitting around a bunch of boxes moved in, then I'm moved in. Friday night we closed, it's official, signed sealed and delivered. My folks came up and were waiting at the house with the kids when we got home. So of course with key in hand we drove out to the new house to look around one more time before the big move. We didn't get to dinner until about 9:00. Poor dad, he was starving. We went back to the old house and everyone went to bed. The hubby and I were too excited to sleep so we layed there talking and reassuring each other that everything is going to be O.K. It was kind of scare thinking that we now have 3 mortgages to keep up with. We'll be ok though.

So Saturday morning came fast!!! My hubby's best friend Insane came up to help us. He had to drive an hour, brought his truck and trailer and was ready to roll. I fed them a huge breakfast and it started. They took all the big stuff first. After they made the first run, Hubby with his truck and trailer, Insane, his truck and trailer and Pops with his truck, my brother, his wife and spawn showed up. The sis-in-law loaded up the kitchen, I was bleaching the bathrooms and Moms was patching little holes and painting. We got pizza about 6:00 and called it a day. All the big stuff was moved. We all slept in the new house. I couldn't sleep at all!!! My mind was racing. Sunday we went and finished up everything. Locked it up and I haven't looked back since.

SO! Now we are in the new house and Baby Girl decides to spend the next two weeks with the grand-folks! TWO WEEKS!!!! I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT HER FOR TWO WEEKS!!!!!

*breathe*

O.K.

So we are in the new house now and all is well. I am still getting used to the hardwood floors (they are cold in the morning). The cats are coming out of hiding. Little Man is adjusting quite well!!! So I can say without a doubt, I'm glad we are there and in and getting settled. I'll have more updates after I get the cable hooked up Thursday (my birthday).

TODAY IS THE BIG DAY!!!

At 4:30 today I will start signing the papers for our new house. I am scared, excited, apprehensive.... I guess you could say I am just a rainbow of moods today. I'm glad that my attorney (boss-man) is doing the closing. He is a great man. I look up to him as one of the smartest men I have ever known (next to dear old dad of course). Anyway, wish me luck.

We are supposed to be closing on the new house this weekend. My parents are coming up to "help"... I am tired just thinking about it. Glad we have Monday off. We had originally scheduled the closing for my birthday but everyone wanted their commission for this month. Money grubbing pains in my ass!!! LOL!!! Wish us luck.

ON MY BIRTHDAY NO LESS...

Can you believe we are actually going to close on my new house on June 1st, my 39th birthday! That totally rules! Still haven't sold this house yet, but we will, we have to!!! Here is a pic of the new house (not unlike all the others y'all have seen).

Hey, I know it doesn't look like much, but it does have 4 bedrooms, 2 baths and 1.25 acres. I am so looking forward to actually living there and relaxing there. I am also going to plant some more trees in the front yard. It has a magnolia and a pear tree. It has an inground sprinkler system (that's cool). I think once we are out of this house and have it cleaned out, it will be ready to roll.

ON ANOTHER NOTE....

This is a pic of my hubby when he was a teen (he is from Panama') with his two cousins, one of the cousin's husband and two of her children. I have no idea who the little girl in the red dress is?!?! The little boy standing in front is now and man who stands over 6 feet tall and was first in his class. The little boy in his father's arms was also first in his class but was suspended for cheating (2 years ago) because he was the one writing term papers for people. Smartass!!! We call them the "tres Juanes", all the boys names are Juan (including their dad). Juan Manuel, Juan Miguel and Juan Moises. (The third one was there because he hadn't been born yet). Wasn't my hubby a cutie? Here he is now, still a hottie but with no afro (or should I say with no hair...)

I know your fingers and toes are getting cramped, but please keep them crossed and the good Karma flowing over this way...

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY....

I know I have said this many times before, but being a mother is by far the best, hardest, fulfilling, labor intensive job I have ever loved.

HERE WE GO AGAIN...

I feel like this a LOT.... "Here we go again..." our agent called and said she thinks she found someone.... Cool (we shall see about this one...) We have 2 more showings today again... Been having lots of traffic through the house so I figured we would have someone by now. Oh, it's just a waiting game.

Oh and LM is being a shit in school again. I mean really WTF, it is only what 2 weeks till school lets out and the teachers are all trying to save his little white ass. Why even bother. Too little too late in my opinion. I have been trying to hold him back for the last 4 years and those bleeding hearts at his school come up with all this bullshit about how it will hurt his self image... Oh and the suckass grades won't?!?!? He is immature and I want him to get that extra year under his belt so he won't have such a hard time with everything. Of course he is smart and he has a high IQ, but that isn't everything. He needs to work on how to be socially smart as well. I want a well rounded son (I guess as opposed to a lopsided one). Wish me luck, we are fighting an uphill battle...

I am starting to get nervous here folks, no one has even tried putting in an offer. Maybe I'll just back out of the other house, lose my earnest money and forget this whole moving thing altogether. It is so not worth all the stress. I am really close to giving up.

I KNOW...I KNOW....

I know you all are really tired about this whole "selling the house" biz, but.... I just got a call from my realtor (who is just friggin awesome) and said that someone that came and looked at the house today wanted to see the property disclosure and is ready to put in an offer. I hope so, the stress is killing me. I have been sick for 2 days with headaches and no appetite. I know it's the stress, but I can't help it. We have the option to keep this house and lease it out, but I really don't need that kind of BS in my life. I just want to get out from under it. I want to be free from it. I want to live in my new house with my 1.25 acres. I want new neighbors and I want peace in my life. Soon my friends soon.... Keep us in your thoughts and/or prayers.

I don't have a whole lot to say today.... I have been blurking for a few days. Got a few good e-mails. Cher is still alive, got an e-mail from her yesterday. I just hope she starts blogging soon, I miss her. Still not too sure about Mel, she is supposed to be getting a new place to hang out. I can't wait to see what she's got cookin. I miss her too.

Still no buyers for my house. No one has even put in an offer. We have 3 people who have come here more than once saying it is at the top of their lists. Well, I'm waiting. Here is a pic I took today of this house, ya wanna buy it?

I know you are not supposed to post pics of where you live and what you house looks like and junk but hell it is already all over the internet and listed in various places. It's a cute little place, we had it built in 1998. I am really looking forward to our new place. I will be very bummed if the closing falls through.
