A LITTLE FUNNY FOR YOU....

I just called to check up on my daughter and I could hear "road noise" like she was outside.

I asked,"Where are you?
To which she replied,"I'm walking the dog."
Of course I said,"No you're not. What are you doing?"
BG,"I'm walking."
Me,"With who?"
BG,"The (insert skank-ho gf that I forbade to come to my house ever again)."
Me,"You're in trouble."
BG,"I know."
Me,"You need to head back to the house, NOW! Make sure she calls her mother to come get her."
BG,"Yes ma'am."

O.K. What the F is going on with her, has her head come completely off her body? The only reason I know for a fact that she is NOT walking the dog is because the dog is getting fixed today and I have to pick him up after 3:00. She lied to my face yet again and has the only person not allowed at my house AT MY HOUSE! Um, duh!!!
Please wish me luck that I don't feel the need to kill her in her sleep...

Kids, ughs! Not sure if she's the 13 or 14 year old. Unfortunately, they always try that crap.

Lotsa luck with that one. I know, I have one of my own going through shit, that pisses me off too.

Miranda, I just love you. You always make me feel like I am not all alone with this stuff. She is the 13 year old, how on earth will I survive the both of them through these awful teen years? How did you?

Well...be thankful you only have one girl?

Take comfort in knowing that they will out grow it. But with all kids, they end one phase, only to enter another. Maybe, though, the next phase will be totally opposite, who knows.

Be prepared, for every one 'bad' friend you get rid of, there may be one 'dud' of a boyfriend (stage Im at now).

I'm sure I've said it a million times before, but its so damn hard. We have to let them make their mistakes to learn from them.

oops lol...didnt finish. (damn ppl interupting me while at work umph!) You WILL survive. How did I do it? LOL...well...I dunno, but I'm still going through shit with one of them, so I question if it will ever end. My mom says it doesnt. LOL...so all we can do after we yell at them, is take a hot bath, with a big glass of wine.

Yep. The "bad" friend is the one they will want to be with. She WILL straighten out, but you will feel like you walked 100 miles of bad road barefoot, over glass.
Just lay down your expectations, but be sure to reinforce that you LOVE HER no matter what.
This age is REALLY difficult (mine is 15 yo) and I find it is frustrating. I reinforce that I love her no matter what but I'm not stupid and I'm not going to allow her to screw up her life NOW or EVER - its my job to make sure she doesnt.

Good luck babes....keep us posted...
Be STRONG.

(oh and mine TRIES to lie...I bust her every time, so now she just gives up. I think she has figured out I am much better than she is!!)

Take a break, don't shake.

Coming here is starting to make me depressed because it's like a twisted little preview of my future.

Best of luck my friend!

Take deep breaths, count to ten and then think about what you want to do.
She is obviously pushing the boundaries.. don't let her get to you..easier said than done eh :(

It's almost comical (but not quite) how dumb kids think their parents are. Like you wouldn't remember the dog was being neutered?!?

So glad I don't have kids. I have very little patience and can't stand lying. It just seems so freaking pointless to me plus I find it insulting and yet it seems like all kids do it. Ugh.
