*HEAVY SIGH*

Hubby is out of town and my daughter decides to act up. WTF is that? I promised not to tell on her so now I have a slave for the entire summer. Oh and my son does too... She and her hoochie skank-ho "friend" acted up and if you know me.
BIG MAMA DON'T PLAY!!!
So needless to say "friend" is not allowed at my house ever again and Babygirl has had her phone privileges revoked. Why do the teen years have to be so hard? This is the first time I have ever whipped her with a belt. But as a mom you gotta do what you gotta do. I wished I could have belted the "friend" too.

..and you seemed to have grown up like a nice decent person... I can only hope she thinks about the people she wants to surround herself with.

My mom used a plastic spoon on us, that thing stung like a mofo.

Oh, just so you know. The thought of me having to go through all this in about 12 years makes me want to drink heavily. I'll be 50 when my daughter hits this lovely stage babygirl is in.

I'd love to kick my son (age 14) in the butt, however he's gotten too tall for me to reach it so I sneak attack while he's sleeping in the moring. I've also recently "lost" the only cable that connects the video game system to the TV. As a Mom, sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do.

Thank you ladies. I have been having a really hard time coming to terms with the whole thing and your comments help me to see that I am not alone and that yes in fact I am doing the right thing.

Tysgirl, no worries.

You gotta do what you gotta do, and then a little butt whipping is OK in my book. And my condolences on the passing of your husband's grandmother.
