I'M BACK....
I swear I have spent a lot of time reading other people's blogs and commenting, but to actually sit down and write... Nothing has struck me as worthy of writing about....until now.
Recently my eldest brother who happens to be 5 years my senor and just happens to be a grandfather (for the 4th time recently). Was on the receiving end of a road rage incident. WTF is wrong with people out there? He is about 6'3" and weighs about 260. He is a big man and is a gentle soul. Sure he has hair down his back, sure he has a massive beard, sure he has tattoos covering his arms, sure he rides a Harley, but he is a hard working husband, father and grandfather. Three young punks decided that it would be fun to break his face in 8 places and almost kill him. Yep, that's right. My bro was riding his motorcycle home from work when these idiots driving a full size truck cut him off in traffic. My brother was able to avoid getting hit (thank God because they don't wear helmets in Florida). They got to a red light and the three stooges got out of their truck and proceeded to beat my brother almost to death. Yeah, nice guys, huh? Lucky for Bro1, he will be O.K. He just needs time to heal. He broke both of his eye sockets, top & bottom, his nose, a part of his sinus cavity and the whole roof of his mouth was split down the middle. My brother opted not to get the police involved. He believes in Karma and knows in his heart that these punks will get what they deserve sooner or later. I hurt for him.
I just have to wonder, why do people form opinions about people just by the way they look? Hasn't this world evolved enough? I guess not. Please my friends, say a little prayer or throw some Karma and good thoughts his way, please...

That is insane, I am glad that he is doing okay and just needs time to heal. those asses will get theirs...Karma is a bitch with a long memory!
That is just beyond sick. Why on earth would anyone do that to another human being? Oh I know....those three punks aren't human. Jerkoffs.

I see this happen way way too often. People coming through the ER doors with the ambo's, smashed up through pure stupidity.

Oh Big Mama, I feel so awful for your brother. How could anyone beat that face- he looks like such a kind man.
Recently Ty and I were in a local bar with some friends and a biker "gang" came in. I use gang for lack of a better word. I don't remember the exact name on their jackets but they had a very strong religous affiliation. When they sat down, they joined hands and prayed while they waited for the waitress.
The waitress (who had 2 black eyes and a really bad attitude) came over, she asked to remove their 'gang colors' or leave. Of course they didn't want to remove their jackets just to appease this bitch, so they refused. All these men wanted was a hot meal.
The cops were called and the biker gang was escorted from the bar. It was horrible and an embarrassment. And of course, Ty- who was on his 3rd pitcher, promptly thanked the cops for protecting us from the "big bad biker dudes"....meant sarcastically of course.
Christina is right, Karma has a long memory. Your brother will be in our thoughts!

Why are people so hateful?? That is just horrible!! I hope your brother heals well and quickly and with little pain. I hope he gets back on his motorcycle and shows everyone how strong his is inside and out!!
I have been hiding out too!! But also reading everyone's blogs. I am trying to write at least something everyday one mine. Take care!!
