If I had a 12 year old I'd rather he was into porn than the real thing, or drugs. Of course I can understand your concerns as a mother and a woman. I'm sure yu have explained your concerns to him in a rational manner.

Oh it gets better... he has been grounded from the computer for about a year because he has surfed p0rn and claims it is addicting. So he isn't allowed on the computer... Well in my infinite mommy wisdom and building the trust between us I figured it was over. I let him get on the computer Friday morning for 3 hours while I was at work. *insert very wrong move here*....
I figured wrong.
He spent that night at a friend's house and I got a call from his friend's mother saying she found a few websites that were visited after everyone went to bed... Umm yeah he admitted it, it was him. He just LOVES these "addicting" websites. So needless to say I had another one of my infamous talks with him explaining that what he is seeing is just not right and when he does get in to relationships that his partner will NOT be willing to do the things that he's seen on the internet......
*sigh*
What more can I do? I mean I get him being a boy on the verge of puberty but back in the day finding your father's girly mags was like striking gold. Now my baby is exposed to "fist*ng" "an*l" and LORD KNOWS what else.... So he is my personal slave for the next month. Hey I'll take suggestions....
He's not a dumbass...just curious.
My mom found me with magazines once. She didn't make a big deal about it... there was a "talk", but I don't even remember what it was about :)
Although I have to admit that f*sting wasn't anthing I was aware of at 12! That double-edged sword called the Internet!

Ha! My son is twelve in June. We went through the same thing...and he recently asked for Playboy cos he knows we will know if he surfs porn...I game him Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition instead.
